🐀🎸 Friday Afternoon Rat Hunting! 🎸🐀
As part of our Friday Enrichment programme, students chose an afternoon exploring the legacy of Mick Ronson and his influence on Hull’s music scene. We headed into the city centre to hunt down the iconic rat statues, each picking a favourite and reflecting on why.
This fun and engaging activity also supported key Executive Functioning skills like planning, decision-making, and flexible thinking. 🧠💡
Excellent behaviour from all students—a pleasure to take out!

Lovely afternoon at mini golf with Agris and Evie! ⛳️🏌🏼♂️
We had a brilliant time developing our confidence, teamwork, and social skills in a fun and challenging environment.
Each hole gave us the chance to think strategically — planning our angle, using just the right amount of force, and showing real patience and precision. 💡🎯
Both pupils showed fantastic perseverance, especially when the game got tricky. A great example of learning through fun, challenge, and resilience! 🙌

✨ Amazing WRAP Session This Week! ✨
This week, we dived into our "Early Warning Signs Action Plan" and began exploring the next stage: "Breaking Down and Getting Worse."
💥 What does that mean?
It’s what can happen when we ignore our warning signs, aren’t aware of personal triggers, and don’t use our wellness tools or talk to our supporters. It’s about how quickly things can escalate when we don’t take action—leading to emotional overwhelm and dysregulation.
🛣️ We used the powerful "Leave It Lane & Sort It Street" model to explore the choices we have when facing our early warning signs.
🍬🥤 Then, we brought it to life in the park with a hands-on activity! We used a Coke bottle and mints to represent what it looks like when we don’t take care of ourselves:
The mints = our triggers and warning signs
The explosion = what happens when it all builds up—loss of emotional control, isolation, and dysregulation.
A powerful reminder that we can take control, build resilience, and support our own well-being 💪🧠💚
